Hello, Vikings. I've lived in Washington State since 1975, when I moved west to attend The Evergreen State College in Olympia, followed by a master's degree from University of Washington. I've worked in the nonprofit sector in fund raising and PR all of my working career, plus a few stints as college instructor on the side teaching Business English, Business Communications and fund raising courses. Currently I work at Northwest Kidney Centers in Seattle as VP of Development and Public Relations, still using some of my training acquired as your yearbook editor (No trapped white space!). This week my husband, Dan (a mental health therapist) and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. Our daughter, Margaret, married two years ago and is a zoo keeper at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma. I have been cancer-free for 11 years and try to enjoy each day and live life to the fullest!
