Greetings from the crossroads of the US in Carmel (by the Corn) Indiana. I added my profile but graduated from Eberhard HS in DC (now Nora). Sorry I'm not attending the big event. In case someone was wondering what ever happened to me... here's a quick summary (where I clearly over-share and under-edit when compared to other profiles on this platform.)

After stumbling though and barely graduating high school & quickly dropping out at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, I bounced between DC, Glen Echo & Baltimore as a musician by night, generic sales rep by day.

I unknowingly leveraged my Bethesda demographic privilege (but thought it was my good luck) and sold my soul to take on a series of muckity-muck roles at hoity toity corporations as a marketing communication spin doctor and eventually a management consultant SME / whore for private equity firms that hired me to mix up and serve tasty batches of intuitional kool-aid, whilst I slapped lipstick on corporate pigs, branded them, then led them to slaughter so their assets could butchered into profitable prime cuts and sold to M&A bottom feeders.

I cashed out and quit the east coast rat race, moved to the Bloomington IN bubble then to Indy where I entered a witness protection program, made hay while the sun was still shinning, and perfected my kool aid alchemy skills while I was still perceived as being young and relevant.

Fortunately I married the yang of my yin and had dogs instead of kids which enabled me to retire earlyish. Now that I'm typically perceived to be an old boomer, I'm embracing my irrelevance and invisibility and making time to explore the great outdoors with my wife, and rediscovering my musical side.

Since I don't have any heirs or family to speak of, nor did I leave a lasting or meaningful legacy, I'm content with my impermanence and the fact that I'll quickly be forgotten soon after I return to the start dust from which I came.

While I may sound like a jaded, snarky, nihilistic buzz killing old fart - I'm actually quite grateful, happy and amazed I made it this far! Especially after I read that long list under the "In Memory" section of this website.

But enough about me. I dare you to reach out while I'm still on the planet and share stories about your journey. Maybe you can also help me fill in the numerous errors, omissions and massive memory gaps I have between 1955 and 1980 - partly due to the massive quantities of drugs and alcohol I consumed while I attended Western and Whitman.

Memento Mori!
